About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations at our flagship retail outlet in Pune. You will oversee a team of 15-20 associates, drive sales targets, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional customer experience. This is a leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15-20 sales associates and support staff
- Drive sales performance and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain for stock replenishment
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained across the store
- Handle customer escalations and ensure a premium customer experience
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports
- Recruit, onboard, and manage performance reviews for store staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and SOPs
Requirements
- 3-5 years of retail management experience (preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or electronics)
- Proven track record of leading teams and meeting sales targets
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (Marathi is a plus)
- Comfortable with retail POS systems and inventory management tools
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Retail Management is a bonus)
- Willingness to work on weekends and during festive seasons
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-first mindset
